  • Visit mywifiext.net using a browser. Use the IP 192.168.1.250 if the URL does not work.
  • Click New Extender Setup.
  • Accept Terms and Conditions by clicking on I Agree.
  • Enter admin username as admin and create an admin password for login. This password will be used to log in to your extender.
  • Answer two security questions and save the password.
  • Click Next and assign WiFi names and passwords for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network bands for your extender.
  • Save the settings and wait for some time.

This completes the Netgear extender setup with Eero WiFi router. Shift the extender to a new location now and connect your devices to it’s network.

Using Netgear Nighthawk App
